Advanced Foot Care provided by a Registered Practical Nurse / Podortho® Foot Specialist. ( NO POLISH)  ** This service is the initial appointment **  All nursing services are tax free.   Consultation and assessment then treatment of specific foot care problems such as: general foot care, debridement for thick nails, cracked heels/fissures, corns, callouses.  Your foot care ends with a moisturizing foot massage and warm essential oil infused towel.  Patient care plan and goals discussed.

Diabetic Medical Foot Care (POLISH)

Diabetic foot care appointment includes a comprehensive nursing foot and lower limb assessment, neuropathy screening (initial and yearly), medical pedicure (Foot wash, foot and nail care, foot massage & warm towel)

Patient Care Plan / Goals and preventative measures are discussed and reviewed with the client. 

Ongoing nursing foot care maintenance is important for those living with diabetes.
** All new patients must book a Initial Visit prior to booking the routine visit**

Diabetic Medical Foot Care - Routine

Diabetic Hybrid Medical foot care is a medical pedicure without the "extras."  The Hybrid is a simple medical pedicure addressing issues such as thick nails, corns, callouses etc.  no foot soak, no polish etc.   All foot care ends with a Footlogix moisturizing foam application.  (Time:  30 minutes)
** All new patients must book Initial Visit first before continuing with this service**

Diabetic Hybrid Medical Foot Care

Advanced Nursing Foot Care provided by a Registered Practical Nurse / Podortho® Foot Specialist.  Polish can be added 
Advanced Nursing Foot Care /Medical foot care for the following: Assessment, plan and treatment of one or more of the following: thick nails, corns, callous, non-diabetic patients.  Patient care plan and goals provided.

Medical Foot Care - Routine

Hybrid Medical Pedicure is a medical pedicure without the "extras."  The Hybrid is a simple medical pedicure addressing issues such as thick nails, corns, callouses etc.  No foot soak, no polish etc.   All foot care ends with a Footlogix moisturizing foam application.  (Time:  30 minutes)

Removal of plantar wart bundle.  Consists of initial appointment/assessment as well as up to 2 follow up appointments every 2 weeks.  Bundle includes 3 treatments in total.

Plantar Wart Bundle

Ingrown Toenail Removal - Medical Foot Care.  Ingrown toenail removal.  Numbing cream available for comfort if needed.  Toe dressing and discharge instructions provided.   Goals and options to prevent and reduce ingrown toenail will be discussed as well.  
Sterilized equipment is always used in any serviced from On The Mend Advanced Foot Care.

Bundle includes 3 treatments at $98.00

Low Level Laser Light Therapy - Non-invasive, pain-free laser and light therapy which absorb at the cellular level resulting in enhancing tissue healing, decreasing inflammation, stimulation of the vascular, immune and lymphatic systems.  This therapeutic modality is approved by Health Canada. 

Clinical Conditions:
Plantar Fasciitis
Soft tissue injuries, sprains, strains
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
inflammatory conditions such as metatarsalgia, neuroma's, arthritis, and wound care to accelerate healing.

Acute and Chronic conditions are treated differently.  Your first appointment will include your assessment and treatment plan with the RPN/Podortho Nurse. 

Contraindications:   NSAID and Steroid use, Pregnancy, Lesions or Cancerous wounds.

Theraputic Low Level Laser Therapy (Bundle)

Follow up appointment for "bundled" services such as plantar wart treatment, Fungal Nail Treatment or Laser Therapy treatment.
